A solar dryer is a sealed, insulated chamber that captures the sun's heat to raise air temperature and pull moisture out of food. Unlike open-sun drying, the produce never touches dust, rain or pests, so the dried output meets the hygiene standards that buyers and exporters demand.

We manufacture cabinet dryers from 5 kg to 50 kg batch capacity, plus large tunnel dryers for commercial throughput. Every unit is built from food-grade trays, UV-stable glazing and powder-coated steel, and is designed to run for years in harsh rural conditions with near-zero operating cost.

Most fruits and vegetables dry in 1 to 3 days of good sunlight, compared to 5 to 7 days in open-sun drying. Exact time depends on the crop, slice thickness and ambient conditions.

A solar dryer continues to work on overcast days at a slower rate. For year-round commercial drying we offer optional electric or biomass backup heating so production never stops.

Choose capacity by fresh-load weight per batch: 5 to 10 kg suits SHGs and home enterprises, 25 to 50 kg suits FPOs and small processors, and tunnel dryers suit large-scale operations.
